The Century Stations first memorial ride was held on August 2, 2003. It began at “Glendale Harley Davidson”, 3717 San Fernando Road, Glendale, Ca and ended at “Camacho’s” restaurant 13101 Crossroads Pkwy, Industry, Ca.. As the riders pulled into the parking lot of “Camacho’s” restaurant, we were saddened to hear that Deputy Stephen D. Sorenson from Lancaster Sheriff Station was murdered in the line of duty while on a call for service. The participants of the event joined in a moment of silence and a prayer for Deputy Sorenson. The event had a high turnout of participants and everyone enjoyed themselves. There was great food, music and plenty of raffle prizes.
